Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will get its own memory card, just like Final Fantasy X-2 did when it was released in Japan. Hori has announced that it will manufacture a special Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles memory card. The GamCube memory card (251 model) will have the game's four main characters on it.
It will retail along with the game on August 8th in Japan. The memory card will cost 2200 yen (18.59USD).
Square Enix USA has launched the official website for its PlayStation2 and PC MMORPG Final Fantasy XI. The site will have all the information found on the Japanese site, but in English of course.
Final Fantasy XI(for North America) will start beta-testing soon, with Square Enix USA having completed the applications for closed beta testers.
The PC version of Final Fantasy XI is set to be released in late 2003. The PlayStation2 version will only be released in early 2004 by Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Following the recent announcement of the game's release date being pushed back slightly, Square Enix has now revealed further details regarding the release of its GameCube RPG Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. The game, which will be available in Japan on August 8th for 6,800 yen (57.23USD), will ship with a GameCube - GameBoy Advance link cable.
Originally scheduled for a spring 2003 release, the title had been initially pushed back to July 18th, prior to receiving its current release date.
